2002 at a glance
A) Gansu
41 local leaders from Pingliang & Qingyang Districts attended the first EAP Training for Leaders.
60 participants from Pingliang District attended a EAP L1 training.
Ten graduate and undergraduate students and one teacher at the Gansu Agricultural University, studied the EAP L1 materials and reviewed course materials newly developed for the EAP L2.
B) Beijing
A total of 100 participants, including kindergarten principals, psychologists, doctors and university students, attended seminar titled "Children Learning Deficiency" and "marital Therapy" conducted by Drs. Bijan and Agnes Ghaznavi.
C) Shaanxi
24 participants from the EAP L1 trainings conducted in 2001 were invited to attend the first Facilitators Training.
120 participants from 40 villages participated in two EAP L1 trainings.
42 students from 12 universities, 5 teachers and 12 community volunteers attended the EAP L1 training.
D) Yunnan
56 participants including 32 from minority groups (Yi, Miao, Bai Chuang and Hani) attended a EAP L1 training.
"As a result of the efforts of participants and newly trained facilitators to share what they have learned, the Badi Foundation estimates that concepts and principles presented in the EAP materials have reached over 3000 villagers."
