The Mountain Mover DVD
(click to watch movie)

As the number of rural women interested in facilitating the social enterprise program has increased, it has become clear that additional tools were needed to help women develop facilitation skills and others to understand more fully both the project and the transformation experienced by participants. Through consultation with a number of collaborators, the idea of producing a video emerged. With funds provided by the Swiss Embassy's Small Project Fund and Stephen and Patricia Jackson of the United States, production began in 2003.

Two versions of this documentary have been scheduled for production. One version will focus on helping to train new facilitators. The second will be on the impact of the project on participants. This version, entitled "The Mountain Mover" is aimed at benefitting our collaborators and other funding institutions seeking to understand our programs with the possibility of funding future ones.
