We are pleased to share that a recent article in China Philanthropy Times featured one of the community-based organizations that the Badi Foundation is supporting in Hebei Province.  The article describes the personal transformation that Zhang Nian, the founder of the community-based organization, underwent after participating in an Environmental Action Program training offered by the Badi Foundation, and her subsequent efforts to form an organization to offer similar trainings to her fellow community members and to accompany them to carry out service projects in their village.  As a result of her efforts and the support of the local community and authorities, Zhang Nian was recently able to officially register her organization in 2011.  The full article in Chinese can be found here.
